Alex has hidden his sexuality behind a seven-year marriage of convenience. On an island holiday, his wife Helen and her lover Chloe arrange a partner-swap agreement that pairs him with Cassis, a fellow CEO who has loved him for years. Their attraction grows, but Alex retreats under family and social pressure. Cassis enters his company and makes their relationship public. When a business rival uses intimate island photos to blackmail Cassis, Alex prepares to sacrifice his own reputation to protect him. Cassis exposes the plot at a press conference, and the two abandon the coercive pact for a freely chosen lifelong commitment.
