Disappointed by her newly-found biological daughter Lexi, Queen Laura locks her away in a tower. Jealous of Lexi's claim to the throne, adopted princess Evelyn leads nobles to torture her. Lexi begs for help, but Laura ignores her, making Lexi fall from the tower right before Laura's eyes. Even after Lexi survives, Evelyn secretly sold Lexi into slavery. Laura keeps searching, but Lexi’s been tragically abused to death in the slums. Devastated by the truth, Laura destroys everyone responsible, gives up her crown, and disappears with her daughter’s ashes.
