Danielle Harper, the art class teacher, is a snobbish and money-obsessed woman. One day, she sees a luxury car painted by her student and mistakenly takes Mike Carter for Nathaniel Whitmore, the richest man. She immediately showers him with flattery, convinced she’s about to marry into a wealthy family. Getting carried away with arrogance, she humiliates her old classmate Victoria Whitmore relentlessly with sarcasm, showing no mercy whatsoever. Little does she know, Victoria’s husband is the real Nathaniel Whitmore—her conceited actions are nothing but a huge joke.
