Nora Hayes was once a community dance teacher. After marriage, she gave up her career and became the perfect "good wife" as her husband Adam called her: caring for his sick mother, raising two children alone, covering every bill in the house. While Nora held everything together, Adam used her as his foundation—packaging himself as a "devoted family man" and climbing the career ladder. Until their children caught Adam and his young colleague Vivienne in the closet. What Nora uncovered was far worse than cheating. In the study, a document labeling her "emotionally unstable and unfit to care for children alone" revealed Adam had long been plotting to take her kids and everything she owned. The deadliest truth waited behind the bathroom door: The one Adam truly desired was his male boss, Victor. Vivienne and Nora—one a "mistress", one a "wife"—were nothing but props for him to pretend he was "normal". Enemies became allies. The scorned wife and the other woman joined forces. The children used drones to capture every lie. Their abused neighbor Rosie secretly sent a signal for help. Step by step, Nora tore down Adam’s "perfect husband" facade. In the end, he was consumed by his own jealousy—gunned down by the abused neighbor he had tormented. Then Nora revealed her secret identity: Night Nora. She turned the old community center next door into a dance and empowerment studio for women. On the first day, abused neighbor Rosie, Victor’s scorned wife Diana, and seven or more silent housewives stood before the mirror. Lifted their heads. Breathed deep. And took their first step forward. She isn’t actually gentle at all.She was just never allowed to be strong.
