Former starlet Ava is diagnosed with terminal cancer. With only one worry — her five-year-old daughter Lily — she arranges for Lily to find her billionaire biological father Ethan with a paternity test. She teaches Lily to call her a "bad mommy" and uses a fake death certificate to vanish completely, all so Ethan will keep the child. At first, Ethan is furious, believing Ava left him pregnant out of spite. But as he bonds with Lily, the truth unravels — and regret consumes him. Ava's fake death becomes real. After death, her spirit lingers, watching Ethan learn to be a father, watching him carry guilt so heavy he never dares fail Lily again. She used her last "evil" to buy her daughter a lifetime of love.
