Stella Whitman, the Sword Immortal of the Azure Faction, fails her ascension. Her disciple, Noah Whitlock, practices demonic arts and publicly announces a ghost marriage with Stella to protect her body. Despite opposition, he talks his way out—only to accidentally awaken the Heavenly Demon. Forced into the Devil’s Abyss, his power explodes. He eventually destroys the demon and retreats from the world with his master’s remains.
